I have to share some sad news. I had to put Felix alseep this past weekend. It was so peaceful. There were times when he would stick out his tongue...he had no upper two front teeth and no bottom 2 either. It always made me laugh and he didn't do it often but when he did... LOL!! When he passed away, he stuck out his tongue. He knew it would make me laugh...when I was crying.
For those of you who follow my blog, you all know what a special pet he was. Always full of love. This all has broken my heart. About 2 weeks ago I took him into the the vet because he wasn't eating and not playing. Did all the tests and an ultrasound....liver cancer and spleen. This past week he wasn't eating (only turkey baby food) and I knew.
Gave Felix lots of love (like always) and had a little chat about how special he was and the people he has to visit in the next world. It is hard coming home and him not being at the door but I leave him knowing that he was the best kitty ever.
Here is my absolute favorite picture of the pets...it captured Felix's spirit and makes me laugh....he stuck out his tongue.
